Hi, folks! It’s that time of year again. Fall is in the air and tech events are calling your name!
We have a few to share:
Our Chief Instructor, Jeff Ammons, will be speaking at Code Camp and Connect.Tech!
The Xamarin Class will be right here at Code Career Academy by our Continuing Ed Instructor, Jared Rhodes! If you are already a C# developer and interested in cross platform mobile development, check that one out!
Don’t forget we are now accepting applications for our Winter Cohort and the spots are filling up! We have both Full-Time and Part-Time classes scheduled with BIG discounts for anyone who pays before November 1, so if you have been thinking about signing up, NOW is the time! Pave.com should shortly be ready to accept applications from students accepted into our program, so if you need to finance your bootcamp, let us know ASAP! You don’t have to attend a Meetup to learn more, either. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-888-929-1976 to schedule a personal meeting.
By far the one event I recommend 100% of you attend is Code Camp! For $10 you get a full day of technical topics and lunch!
Here are the details:
The Atlanta Code Camp 2016 is your opportunity to join other Atlanta developer and design community members for a day of training unparalleled in the southeast. Come hear from the best national and local speakers, including Microsoft MVPs, RDs, and open source advocates!
Become a better developer by learning from the variety of sessions across our many tracks of talks. Topics range from the technical (think web, mobile, cloud, data, and more…) to the more career oriented (like software development processes and industry trends). And who knows, you might see some fun things like game development, IoT or even virtual/augmented reality.
With so many developers, designers, and other business professionals attending, it is your chance to meet and mingle with the best people in the community all at once. In our sponsor area, you can meet folks from some of the best local companies who have come to this event looking to fill their most important roles, and other organizations who have something to share with members of the Atlanta developer community.
New in 2016 is an open space for hacking code with other developers and speakers. But just like our past ten code camps, we’ll have great prizes for our ‘end of event’ spectacular. And be sure to stay for our after party, where you can unwind after a day of heavy technical learning and have fun with fellow attendees!
Tickets to the event are limited, so get yours today. Reserving your spot for the low price of $10 ensures you will gain admittance to the event, and will have a lunch reserved. After you reserve your ticket through Eventbrite, make sure you sign up for an account at the Atlanta Code Camp website https://www.atlantacodecamp.com/ so you can favorite your talks (which in turn helps us with scheduling and room assignments) and stay connected with all the goings on at the event.
